Rhacodactylus leachianus – Care Sheet
The New Caledonian Giant Gecko is the largest known species of gecko on the planet. These geckos reside on the island chain of New Caledonia – off the eastern coast of Australia.
Leachies are widespread across the island chain, with ~14 distinct localities with different morphologies across the mainland and outlying islands of New Caledonia.
We have been working with Leachies since ~2005, and primarily keep Moro Isle (Isle E) geckos currently.
